Colorado State football recruiting: Adrian Robinson commits to Rams

Adrian Robinson, a defensive end from North Carolina, committed to Colorado State over the weekend.

Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE

The Colorado State Rams picked up another class of 2013 football recruit this weekend. Adrian Robinson confirmed to the Coloradoan.com that he did indeed commit to CSU. Robinson is a defensive end out of North Carolina, playing at Charlotte Christian. He's listed at 6'5 and 232 pounds.

Robinson is a fairly unheralded recruit, but he did help lead Charlotte Christian to a 9-3 record and was consistently praised by his coach as a difference-maker, despite his lack of national profile. He was rated by MaxPreps at the 16th best prospect in the state of North Carolina. He reportedly also had offers from UMass and Ivy League schools Brown and Columbia.

The Rams now have 14 listed commitments in their 2013 recruiting class. As The Coloradoan noted, four of those recruits are along the defensive line. Josh Lovingood, Timothy Coleman, and Austin Berk are three other defensive ends who have committed to the Rams.
