Colorado St. vs. UNLV: Rams continue to dominate after three quarters

The Colorado St. Rams are dominating the UNLV Rebels as the two teams enter the fourth quarter of their Mountain West Conference game with the Rams leading 27-0.

The Rams led 24-0 at the half and continue to keep the Rebels scoreless, mainly due to their passing defense. UNLV quarterback Nick Sherry has thrown for only 58 yards on 8-for-23 passing and two interceptions. They have been able to run the ball, particularly Tim Cornett, who has 99 yards on 19 carries but that's about it.

Meanwhile, the Rams have put on a balanced offensive display with quarterback Conner Smith putting up 109 yards on 16-for-26 passing and an interception to go along with Donnell Alexander's 104 yards on 16 carries and one touchdown.

The Rams' defense scored their first two touchdowns on an interception return by Shaquil Barrett and a Shaq Bell fumble recovery for a touchdown. The Rams have forced four turnovers, including two fumbles and two interceptions.

Both the Rams and the Rebels are trying to win just their third games of the season.
