Colorado State is tied with San Diego State after one quarter of action. Despite the Aztecs having significantly more passing yards than the Rams, these teams are dead even at 7-7.
The Aztecs wasted no time getting on the scoreboard with a 51-yard touchdown run by Adam Muema in the first minute of the game. Almost six minutes later, the Colorado State answered with a short touchdown pass from M.J. McPeek to Kivon Cartwright.
For the Rams, it was a 15-play, 72-yard drive for the score.
San Diego State put up 131 yards of total offense in the first quarter, compared to Colorado State 72 yards. So far, it's a penalty and turnover free game.
The Rams are going for their first win since opening the season against Colorado. CSU has dropped its last five games.
