Cubs vs. Rockies: Drew Pomeranz still looking for second win

All of a sudden, the Colorado Rockies are on a winning streak. After snapping their nine-game losing skid, they won their second straight on Monday night in a rain drenched game against the Chicago Cubs. Drew Pomeranz might finally get a chance to get his second win of the season, which has eluded him all year, against the Cubs in game two of their series on Tuesday.

Pomeranz (1-9, 5.30 ERA) has had a mixture of bad baseball and bad luck in his first full season with the Rockies and hasn't gotten a win in his last thirteen starts. He'll face off against Jason Berken (0-1, 3.27 ERA), who will be starting only his third game of the season for the Cubs.

The Colorado offense has lit aflame over the past two games, led by rookie of the year candidate Willin Rosario leading the way. Rosario hit his 27th home run of the season against the Cubs on Monday and has put together a long streak of three-hit games.

The game will be at Coors Field at 6:40 p.m. MT.
