Rockies Vs. Diamondbacks Game Recap: Colorado Continues Slide, Loses 15-5

The Colorado Rockies couldn't match the offensive outburst of the Arizona Diamondbacks, losing 15-5 and extending their losing streak to seven straight games. Rockies starting pitcher Drew Pomeranz was shelled for 4 runs on 4 hits in 3 innings of work. Pomeranz was relieve by Alex White, but White gave up 5 runs on 5 hits in just 1.1 innings, picking up the loss.

Rookie Diamondbacks starting pitcher Wade Miley allowed 5 runs on 10 hits in 6 innings, but got the run support to walk away with the win. Miley is now 16-10 on the season.

Colorado was led by 23-year-old catcher Wilin Rosario, who went 3-5, including 1 run and 1 RBI.

The Rockies, at 58-92, are 4 losses away from the worst season in franchise history, having lost 95 games in 2005 and 1993.
