The Colorado Rockies open a three-game set against the Dodgers in Los Angeles on Monday night. They will do so with Todd Helton sidelined for the rest of the season and with Chris Nelson back in the lineup after a stint on the disabled list due to an irregular heartbeat in the the middle of July. He will bat seventh and play second base.
The Rockies' Monday night lineup lacks plenty of the team's firepower, as Troy Tulowitzki is still weeks away from returning and Michael Cuddyer just went on the disabled list. Tyler Colvin and Josh Rutledge are sitting for this game, initially.
