The Rockies were bruised by the Giants on Friday night, falling 16-4 to the NL West division leaders. Colorado put five pitchers on the hill and each of them gave up at least one earned run.
Jonathan Sanchez picked up the loss for the Rockies. Ryan Vogelsong was the winning pitcher for San Francisco.
Wilin Rosario led the way for the Rockies, going 1-for-3 at the plate. His two-run homer capped a four-run inning in the seventh for the Rockies. Carlos Gonzalez and Todd Helton had plated the previous two runs for Colorado.
