Dodgers Vs. Rockies Final Score: Wilin Rosario's 3-RBI Night Leads Colorado To 8-4 Victory

The Colorado Rockies are on a two-game winning streak following Tuesday night's 8-4 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Catcher Wilin Rosario had a big night, picking up three RBI on two singles and a home run. That home run, Wilin's 22nd of the season, now puts him one ahead of Carlos Gonzalez for the team lead.

One of Rosario's RBI singles came in the first inning, which saw the Rockies open up a 4-0 lead. Jordan Pacheco and DJ LeMahieu each doubled in a run while Andrew Brown singled in the other run.

A.J. Ellis' sac fly in the second put the Dodgers on board, but Rosario hit his home run in the third inning to make up for that. Adam Kennedy drove in a run on a double play in the next inning, only to see Tyler Colvin answer right back in the bottom half of the inning with an RBI single.

Rosario and Chris Nelson drove in runs in the seventh to stretch the lead to 8-2 before Juan Rivera hit a sac fly in the eighth and Hanley Ramirez homered to start the ninth inning.

Tyler Chatwood (4-3, 4.81 ERA) allowed two runs over five innings and struck out four. Carlos Torres took the other two runs before Rafael Betancourt came in to record the final two outs of the game.

The Rockies (53-75, 28-39 home) close out this series on Wednesday afternoon at 1:10 p.m. MT. Drew Pomeranz and Joe Blanton are the scheduled starters.
