Rockies Vs. Dodgers: Colorado Up 2-0 Through 5 Innings

Josh Beckett's debut for the L.A. Dodgers against the Colorado Rockies hasn't been that bad so far, but his team hasn't given him much support as he was outdueled by Jeff Francis through five innings.

Francis has thrown a great game with only three hits allowed through five and six strikeouts recorded. Beckett so far has struck out five Rockies while walking three and allowing two runs on four hits. Tyler Colvin struck first for the Rockies when he hit a leadoff home run to make it 1-0, while the second run was pushed in by DJ LeMahieu in the fourth inning. L.A.'s offense hasn't shown very much punch with only three hits.

Going into the top of the sixth inning, the Rockies have replaced Francis with Josh Roenicke.
