The Colorado Rockies put Friday's loss to the Chicago Cubs behind them on Saturday and pulled out a late-inning charge for a 4-3 win. A series victory on Sunday is possible, and it most certainly would be a good way to head back to Coors Field on Monday.
Jhoulys Chacin (1-3, 6.16 ERA) is making just his second start since coming off a three-month stint on the disabled list. He was impressive in his return on Tuesday against the New York Mets, picking up his first win of the year after throwing six innings of one-run ball. He walked zero batters, struck out two and allowed four hits.
Chris Volstad (0-9, 6.88 ERA) will look to join the ranks of the winners by the end of the game, but that will require some solid pitching on his part. In his 13 starts this season, Volstad has seen his Cubs go just 1-12. While not spectacular, he has pitched decently over his last few starts, most recently allowing four runs over six innings to the Cincinnati Reds. He struck out four in the 5-4 loss.
First pitch will take place at 12:20 p.m. MT. ROOT Sports will have the television broadcast while 850 KOA has the radio broadcast.
