Rockies Vs. Mets Score Update: Colorado's Offense Pops In 6th Inning, Rockies Up 4-1

Chris Young took a perfect game into the sixth inning against the Rockies, but they finally managed to push some hits and more importantly, some runs out of him.

The Rockies started the inning by putting a few men on base and a throwing error from Young put the Rockies on the board. Following that, the Rox strung together hits from Charlie Blackmon, Dexter Fowler and Ramon Hernandez to get three more runs out of the inning before Young finally shut them down.

Jhoulys Chacin continued his solid first game back in the bottom of the sixth by working quickly to knock the Mets out and keep them from coming back. He is currently at 73 pitches, only two below his rough 75-pitch limit. Assuming he doesn't make it into the bottom of the seventh, he'll end the game with a very impressive line of three hits and one run allowed in six innings with two strikeouts and no walks.
