Rockies Vs. Mets Score: R.A. Dickey Has New York In 1-0 Lead

Through four innings, Mets ace R.A. Dickey has surrendered just two hits as the New York Mets hold a slim 1-0 lead over the Colorado Rockies in New York.

Dexter Fowler singled for the Rockies with one out in the top of the fourth, but Dickey secured a weak liner hit back to him by Andrew Brown, and doubled Fowler at first to end the inning. Dickey has struck out five on just 52 pitches.

The lone run of the game came in the bottom of the first, off the bat of Daniel Murphy. After Rockies pitcher Alex White coaxed two Mets into infield outs, David Wright doubled to left field. Murphy drove Wright home two batters later. That double has really been White's only mistake, as he's given up just three hits and struck out four through four innings himself.
