Score Update: Phillies Leading The Rockies 2-0 In The 5th

The Colorado Rockies are looking to take the series on Sunday afternoon against the Philadelphia Phillies. To the Rockies dismay, things aren't going according to plan thus far.

Through four innings, Colorado's offense is being shut down by All-Star Cole Hamels, trailing Philadelphia 2-0.

The Phillies got the scoring going right off the bat in the top of the first with a Carlos Ruiz RBI single, plating Shane Victorino. In the fourth inning, Placido Polanco hit a sacrifice fly to right, scoring Ruiz to give the Phils a two-run advantage.

Colorado does have three hits thus far, with two of them coming from Dexter Fowler, both singles. The center fielder continues to look great this season, currently hitting .303. The other hit was courtesy of Tyler Colvin.

Drew Pomeranz has pitched adequately, striking out five while walking a pair and surrendering four hits. With a little luck, perhaps he can be taken off the losing hook by his teammates.
