Rockies Vs. Diamondbacks Final Score: Bats Fail Colorado In 6-1 Loss

The Colorado Rockies were able to muster only three hits during a 6-1 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field on Wednesday. Arizona starter Wade Miley went eight innings and allowed only three hits and one run to secure the win and improve to 7-2. The Diamondbacks move to 27-30 on the year, while the Rockies fall to 24-32.

Rockies starter Josh Outman did not have a quality outing. Outman exited after three innings after allowing seven hits and five earned runs. Colorado scored its lone run in the fifth inning, when catcher Wilin Rosario singled in Jason Giambi.

Arizona scored one in the first, one in the second, three in the third and one in the seventh during the win. Paul Goldschmidt had three hits for the Diamondbacks.
