2012 MLB Draft Results: Rockies Complete Draft Selections

The Colorado Rockies completed the 2012 MLB Draft on Wednesday afternoon by completing Rounds 16-40. The team opened up the day by drafting a local prospect from Colorado Mesa, outfielder Jeff Popick. From there on out, the Rockies mixed in a selection of four-year college players, junior college players and high schoolers. Most of the prep players are likely to go to college, but we'll know definitively on July 13 when the new signing deadline comes into effect.

Other prospects of interest the Rockies drafted on Wednesday include Ryan Garvey, an outfielder from Riverside Community College. He is the son of former Major Leaguer Steve Garvey.
