2012 MLB Draft Results: Rockies Use 14th Round Pick On Shane Broyles

The Colorado Rockies selected Texas Tech Red Raiders right-handed pitcher Shane Broyles with its 14th round choice in the 2012 MLB Draft. Broyles is 6 feet 1 and worked as reliever for the Red Raiders.

While had made five starts this spring, Broyles appeared in 18 games as a reliever. He went 2-2 with a 4.42 ERA in 57 innings. He struck out 46 and walked 20 this spring.
