Rockies Vs. Diamondbacks: Colorado Goes For 3 In A Row

The Colorado Rockies picked up a 4-0 victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday night to start a new winning streak. On Tuesday, the team will look to run that to three games when they return to the diamond at Chase Field.

Jeremy Guthrie (3-3, 5.48 ERA) is back on the mound after allowing five runs to the Houston Astros in an 11-5 victory on Thursday. Guthrie went seven innings and surrendered 12 to move his record to .500. Still, this was his third straight start in which he allowed at least five runs.

Ian Kennedy (4-5, 4.26 ERA) had a pretty crummy May, losing five straight games before closing out the month with a victory. In four of those five losses, the Diamondbacks scored just one run of offensive support for him, but he did allow multiple runs in all those starts. On May 30, Kennedy threw 7.2 innings of one-run ball against the San Francisco Giants
