2012 MLB Mock Draft: Rockies Select Courtney Hawkins In Baseball America Mock

The Colorado Rockies haven't quite yet selected Texas high school outfielder Courtney Hawkins with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2012 MLB Draft, but indications from nearly every MLB mock draft is that they're merely biding their time. In his most recent mock draft for Baseball America, Jim Callis, like most of his colleagues, tabs Hawkins for the Rockies first round pick.

Here is Callis' analysis of the pick:

10. ROCKIES. Colorado has targeted bats all spring, and its pecking order looks like Hawkins, Dahl and Louisiana high school shortstop Gavin Cecchini. The top pitching option could be Oklahoma high school righthander Ty Hensley.
Projected Pick: COURTNEY HAWKINS.
