Dodgers Vs. Rockies Lineups: D.J. LeMahieu Gets Start At Second Base Again

The Colorado Rockies are giving D.J. LeMahieu the nod at second base when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday afternoon. The primary starter at second base, Marco Scutaro, is sliding over to shortstop to cover for Troy Tulowitzki, who was recently placed on the disabled list with a strained left groin.

LeMahieu, 23, has appeared in eight games with Colorado so far, hitting .294/.333/.353 over 18 plate appearances. Acquired from the Chicago Cubs during the offseason in the trade that sent Ian Stewart to the North Siders, he's spent most of the year with Triple-A Colorado Springs, where he's hit .315/.364/.398 with 11 steals over 43 games in the hitter-friendly environment.
