Nationals Vs. Rockies Final Score: Colorado Gets Drilled 11-5

The Colorado Rockies never had much hope vs. the Washington Nationals on Wednesday night. The Nats built an 8-0 lead before the Rockies finally got on the board in the third inning. Washington would go on to cruise to an 11-5 victory at Coors Field. The Nationals improve to 43-30, while Colorado falls to 28-46.

The Nationals had 13 hits and three homers in the win. Ryan Zimmerman was the star for Washington, finishing 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI. Colorado starter Edwar Cabrera allowed seven hits and seven runs (five earned) over 2.1 innings.

Washington starter Jordan Zimmerman improved to 4-6 by allowing eight hits and one run over seven innings.

Left fielder Carlos Gonzalez and third baseman Jordan Pacheco each had two hits for the Rockies.
