The Colorado Rockies will head into the bottom of the sixth inning down 9-1 against the Washington Nationals in the series finale of the three-game set on Wednesday night at Coors Field. Colorado's 24-year old starter Edwar Cabrera was lifted after just 2.1 innings after getting shelled for seven runs (five earned) on five hits. The Rockies are on their third pitcher of the game at the moment, one-time starter Jeremy Guthrie.
Washington scored one in the first, three in the second, four in the third and one in the fourth. First baseman Tyler Moore, third baseman Ryan Zimmerman and shortstop Ian Desmond have all gone deep for the Nats so far.
Washington has 10 hits to six for Colorado. The Rockies have two errors, Washington has one.
