Colorado Rockies News: Zach Putnam Promoted From Triple-A

The Colorado Rockies demoted struggling right-hander Alex White on Monday evening after the 23-year old posted a 6.45 ERA and 1.66 WHIP over 10 starts. Now we know who will be taking White's spot on the roster. Zach Putnam, come on down.

Putnam is a 24-year old righty who was drafted in the fifth round of the 2008 MLB Draft out of Michigan. Putnam made his MLB debut on September 13, 2011 against the Indians. His career stats in the big leagues are as follows: 1-1 overall record with a 6.14 ERA and nine strikeouts.
