The Colorado Rockies have demoted starter Alex White to triple-A Colorado Springs. Manager Jim Tracy did not discuss who would be taking White's spot in the rotation, according to Thomas Harding.

White is 2-6 with a 6.45 ERA in 10 starts for the Rockies this season. He has struck out 34 and walked 22 in 51-2/3 innings of work.
