Rockies Vs. Rangers: Colorado Has Chance For Series Victory

The Colorado Rockies' trip to the Lone Star state swiftly turned around on Saturday afternoon with an 11-7 victory over the Texas Rangers. After the disappointment of a 4-1 loss on Friday night, the Rockies can put together a winning streak with a victory on Sunday evening.

Alex White (2-5, 6.06 ERA) pitches for the Rockies and will look for his first victory since June 3. In the three starts since then, White has allowed 13 runs in 13.2 innings. On Wednesday, White reached his 75-pitch count limit in 3.2 innings, surrendering five runs on five hits. The Rockies lost that game, 7-6.

For the Rangers, Matt Harrison (9-3, 3.41 ERA) will look to close out his strong June with another strong start. He's pitched at least six innings in four June starts and has a complete-game shutout against the San Francisco Giants during that span. He followed that game with 7.1 shutout innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks and 6.1 innings of one-run ball against the San Diego Padres. Will he shut down another NL West team?

Game time/date: 5:05 p.m. MT, Sunday, June 24, 2012
