The Colorado Rockies have lost 10 of their last 11 games, and things aren't going to get any easier when the Rox travel to Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday for the start of a three-game set with the Philadelphia Phillies. While the Phillies have uncharacteristically struggled this season, the Rockies will face left-hander Cole Hamels in the opener, who is off to a great start.
Hamels enters at 9-3 with a 3.34 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. Hamels started 8-1, but he's been roughed up lately. The 28-year old earned a victory in his last start against the Minnesota Twins on June 13, but he still allowed six earned runs on eight hits in six innings.
The Rockies will send out 27-year old lefty Josh Outman, who is 0-2 this season with an 8.44 ERA and 1.63 WHIP. This will be Outman's fourth start.
Game time/date: 6:40 p.m. MT, Monday, June 18
Location: Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, PA
