2012 MLB Draft Signings: Colorado Rockies Have Signed 28 Players From Class Thus Far

The Colorado Rockies have agreed to terms with 28 players from their 2012 MLB Draft class so far, including the team's first six picks. The deadline to sign players July 13 at 3 p.m. MT.

The top unsigned draft picks for the Rockies are fifth round infielder Matthew Wessinger and sixth round right-handed pitcher Matthew Carasiti, both of St. John's University. Each is expected to start negotiating contracts soon, as their college season recently ended. Same goes for the as yet unsigned players Colorado selected in rounds 13, 18 and 30.

The current list of signed players for Colorado includes 14 pitchers, six infielders, five outfielders and three catchers. The Rockies have also inked Zac Osborne, an undrafted shortstop for the Tennessee Volunteers.
