Rockies Vs. Marlins Final Score: Comeback Falls Short As Colorado Loses 7-6

The Colorado Rockies scored three runs before the Miami Marlins ever got a turn to bat on Tuesday night, but it didn't matter. The Marlins scored two in the first inning, three in the third and one run in both the fourth and sixth innings to secure a 7-6 victory over the Rox at Marlins Park.

The Rockies scored two in the eighth and put a pair of runners on in the ninth to mount a comeback, but Todd Helton struck out looking to end the game Jordan Pacheco on third.

Rockies starter Juan Nicasio was roughed up by the Marlins, allowing nine hits and six runs (five earned) over five innings.

The win moves Miami to 24-19, while Colorado falls to 15-27.
