Rockies Vs. Mariners Score Update: Colorado Swept At Home

A five-game homestand for the Colorado Rockies ended in embarrassing fashion, as they were swept by the Seattle Mariners following a 6-4 loss in the series-finale. The Rockies lost four of their five games at Coors Field and now hit the road for six straight.

Jeremy Guthrie didn't have his best stuff in the loss, allowing six earned runs in six innings. Guthrie gave up seven hits, including three home runs, and saw his record fall to 2-2 on the season. Carlos Gonzalez provided most of the offensive support in the loss, recording three hits and driving in two runs. Gonzalez also hit his eighth home run of the season.

Blake Beavan pitched well in the win, striking out seven batters in five innings. Jesus Montero and Justin Smoak each drove in two runs to help the Mariners earn the sweep.
