Mariners Vs. Rockies Score Update: Seattle Jumps Out To 5-0 Lead

The offensive struggles for the Colorado Rockies have continued in the second game of their series against the Seattle Mariners, as the Rockies trail 5-0 through five innings. This lack of production comes on the heels of a poor performance on Friday, when Kevin Millwood limited the Rockies to two hits and zero runs.

Christian Friedrich has struggled in the first home start of his career, allowing nine hits and five earned runs in five innings. However, he has received no support from his offense, with the Rockies being limited to just one hit so far.

Kyle Seager has led the Mariners offense through the first five innings. Seager has driven in three runs on three hits, including a two-run homer in the 5th inning. Jesus Montero and Jason Vargas have also driven in runs.
