Rockies Vs. Mariners Score Update: Carp Homer Puts Seattle Up 2-0

The Seattle Mariners put up a run in the first inning on a Kyle Seager single, and they added to that in the second inning when leftfielder Mike Carp took Alex White deep to centerfield. That put the Mariners up 2-0 heading into the bottom of the second, and that score has held as the third inning has gotten underway.

White have up three hits and two earned runs in those first two innings— he did not walk anyone, but only struck out one batter. The Rockies hitting has yet to show up tonight, as one-time Rockie Kevin Millwood has yet to give up a hit through two innings. In his four starts at home as a Rockie last year, Millwood had a 6.95 ERA.
