Jorge De La Rosa continued his rehabilitation from Tommy John surgery on Thursday with his second start for the Double-A Tulsa Drillers. After his first start was cut short due to precautionary measures, De La Rosa came through with four innings of one-run ball. He allowed that one run in the first inning by allow a leadoff double, a sacrifice bunt and then a single. He allowed one more hit in the second inning for just three given up during his outing. He walked three and struck out four.
Tulsa lost the game, 2-1, scoring its only run on a Tim Torres third-inning single. Cory Riordan allowed the second run to Northwest Arkansas in the sixth inning, a ground ball single by Eric Duncan.
Rockies' top prospect Nolan Arenado picked up three singles.
