Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports is reporting that Colorado Rockies reliever Esmil Roders may have a new home soon:
Sources: #Rockies drawing trade interest in RHP Esmil Rogers. Open to moving him for right fit. Rogers out of options.

The 26-year-old righty is becoming an increasingly interesting target for teams looking to add a swing man to their bullpen. The 6'1" Dominican Republic native has pitched 17 and 2/3 innings in 2012, and has a rough 8.66 ERA despite a career-high 23.6% strikeout rate.
In 2011, Rogers started 13 games and pitched in relief for 5 games, but failed to find success then too. He finished the season with a 7.05 ERA and a career-low 15.6% strikeout rate. According to FanGraphs.com, Rogers' velocity is up almost 2 mph, now hitting 95.7 mph, and could potentially be the cause for his sudden increase in strikeouts.
