The Colorado Rockies are back home on Wednesday night and will have a tribute to former owner Jerry McMorris, who died last week, before the team plays the Arizona Diamondbacks. The tribute will include a video and a moment of silence, the team announced:
#Rockies will honor the life of former club Owner/CEO/President Jerry McMorris in pre-game ceremony tonight, starting at 6:20 p.m.

McMorris died on May 8, 2012, following a battle with pancreatic cancer. He saved baseball in Colorado when he provided the funding to keep the franchise afloat before Major League Baseball would have needed to end operations there.
