The Los Angeles Dodgers will be without center fielder Matt Kemp for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies. Kemp grounded out to end the third inning and did not come back for the top of the fourth inning. It appears to be his hamstring. Tony Gwynn Jr. moved over to center field while Bobby Abreu entered the game to play left field.
The Rockies currently lead the game, 4-2, scoring all three runs in the first inning. Carlos Gonzalez and Michael Cuddyer hit back-to-back RBI singles while Ramon Hernandez hit an RBI ground out. Marco Scutaro drove in the fourth run during the fourth inning.
Kemp and A.J. Ellis each drove in a run for the Dodgers. Alex White and Ted Lilly continue to duel in this Sunday afternoon contest.
