Rockies Vs. Dodgers: Colorado In Familiar Territory Recently, Looking To Avoid Sweep

The Colorado Rockies are 1-4 on this current eight-game road trip and are in a bad position on Sunday. The team has already lost this weekend series to the Los Angeles Dodgers and is out to avoid the sweep. The team will turn to one of its young pitchers to stem the tide.

Alex White (0-1, 2.84 ERA) made his 2012 debut on this road trip when the team played the San Diego Padres. He allowed two runs in 6.1 innings while striking out five. But he didn't have the power of the Rockies' bats with him. He picked up the loss in the 3-1 decision.

Ted Lilly (4-0, 1.41 ERA) is making his second start against the Rockies this season. Back on May 1, Lilly surrendered two runs -- a season high -- on four hits in six innings. The two runs scored on a Carlos Gonzalez home run. Can the Rockies do to Lilly what they were unable to do Chris Capuano on Friday: spoil a perfect record?

Game time/date: 2:10 p.m. MT, Sunday, May 13, 2012
