Rockies Vs. Dodgers: Juan Nicasio Duels Aaron Harang On Saturday

The Colorado Rockies had nothing going for them until the bottom of the ninth inning in Friday's 7-3 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. But that was too little to matter much in the final outcome, obviously. The Rockies are back at it again on Saturday night with Juan Nicasio on the mound.

Nicasio (2-1, 5.35) lost his first game of the season in his last start, a 7-2 defeat at the bats of the Atlanta Braves. He allowed six runs over five innings, including Freddie Freeman three-run home run. In his start before that, Nicasio threw six-plus strong innings against the Dodgers at Coors Field, allowing two runs on nine hits and two walks.

Opposing him will be Aaron Harang (1-2, 5.24 ERA), who opposed Nicasio back on that April 30 start. The Rockies tagged Harang for five runs in 5.2 innings. He then rebounded with two runs allowed in six innings against the Chicago Cubs. However, he took a no-decision while his team took the 4-3 loss.
