The Rockies managed just four hits -- just one of them for extra bases -- on the afternoon as Zito kept things in control. Jhoulys Chacin struggled in his start for Colorado, giving up four runs on four hits in four innings of work. He also walked five batters.

The Giants picked up two runs in the first, two in the third, then added three more in the fifth.

The Rockies are now 1-3 overall.
