Rockies Vs. Astros Update: Moyer Struggles In First Start Since 2010

In his first start since the 2010 season, Jamie Moyer had a rather rude opening, as Jordan Schafer led off the game with a home-run. Although Moyer settled down after the home run, the 49-year old pitcher hasn't had great support from his defense, as the Rockies have committed three errors behind him. Most of the damage from the Astros has been done by the long-ball, as all three of their runs have come from home runs.

Along with the struggles in the field, the Rockies have also struggled at the plate, as they trail 3-0 through four innings. The Colorado offense has only generated two hits off Lucas Harrell, who has shown impressive command so far. Harrell has thrown only 51 pitches, with 37 of those being strikes.
