Rockies Vs. Mariners Final Score: Colorado Wins 9-8

Juan Nicasio struggled in his start for the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday, but the offense picked him up with a big sixth inning, and the Rockies defeated the Seattle Mariners 9-8.

Nicasio gave up four runs on eight hits in 4-1/3 innings of work and the Rockies were down 8-5 heading into the bottom half of the sixth inning. The Rockies were able to scrape together four runs in the inning and the bullpen was able to hold the lead over the final three innings.

Jonathan Herrera had three RBI, while Michael Cuddyer scored twice. The win improved the Rockies to 16-14 overall this spring.
