Mariners Vs. Rockies: Juan Nicasio Getting Last Prep Work In

The Colorado Rockies and the Seattle Mariners once again clash on the baseball diamond as part of a three-game series to close out Spring Training 2012. Taking the mound for the Rockies will be Juan Nicasio, who is currently scheduled to start on Sunday against the Houston Astros.

Nicasio has struck out 21 in 23.1 innings with a 3.09 ERA. He's come so far, so quickly since last August when an Ian Desmond liner sent Nicasio to the ground, resulting in a broken neck.

Erasmo Ramirez has thrown just seven innings this spring, allowing one run and striking out three. He pitched in Double-A and Triple-A last season.
