Rockies Vs. Pirates: Colorado, Pittsburgh Start Series 1 Day Late

The Colorado Rockies and the Pittsburgh Pirates will begin their series on Tuesday, one day later than expected. Poor weather conditions throughout the day led the Pirates to cancel the game on Monday, sending it to a doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon. But before we get there, the Rockies and the Pirate must play Game 1 on Tuesday.

The starters from Monday's game have been moved to Tuesday's game. For the Rockies, this means Jamie Moyer will look to follow up on the success from his last outing when he became the oldest winning pitcher in the major leagues. Every time out now, Moyer sets a new record for that.

The Pirates will turn to Kevin Correia, who will make his third start of the year. He is 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA in two starts this season.

Game time/date: 5:05 p.m. MT, Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Location: PNC Park, Pittsburgh, Pa.

TV/Radio: ROOT Sports/850 KOA
