Rockies Vs. Pirates: Monday's Game Postponed, Will Be Made Up As Doubleheader On Wednesday

While the snow hasn't shown up in Pittsburgh, the Colorado Rockies' game on Monday night against the Pirates has been postponed due to inclement weather. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon. Game 1 on Wednesday is still scheduled for original 10:35 a.m. start time while the second game will commence 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

The Pirates have moved Kevin Correia's start to Tuesday while James McDonald will start the first game of the doubleheader on Wednesday and will be followed by Charlie Morton to finish the series that afternoon. The Rockies' scheduled pitchers are Jamie Moyer, Juan Nicasio and Jhoulys Chacin.

The poor weather conditions had been expected, as forecasts had originally called for snow.
