Rockies Vs. Brewers: Drew Pomeranz Takes Mound To Keep Colorado's Winning Streak Alive

The Colorado Rockies enter Saturday night's game against the Milwaukee Brewers riding a three-game winning streak that includes Friday's 4-3 victory over the Brew Crew. After a solid seven innings from Jhoulys Chacin and a pinch-hit, game-winning RBI single by Michael Cuddyer, the Rockies turn to Drew Pomeranz (0-1, 10.38 ERA) to keep things rolling.

Pomeranz made his 2012 major league debut last Sunday in what turned into a 5-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Chris Young drove in three runs against Pomeranz on a two-run homer and a single while Aaron Hill hit a two-run single. This chased Pomeranz out of the game after five runs scored on nine hits and two walks over 4.1 innings.

Marco Estrada will start in place of Chris Narveson, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Friday for a torn left rotator cuff. Estrada has spent this season as part of the bullpen, appearing in five games. He holds a 3.00 ERA in six innings, allowing just two runs (all in his second appearance of the season).
