The Colorado Rockies enter Wednesday's rubber game against the San Diego Padres on the heels of a 5-3 victory on Tuesday evening, but they'll need to this night's game without star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki. He's not sitting out due to injury or anything like that, but due to his recent adventures in the infield manager Jim Tracy has apparently decided to see if some rest will do his shortstop good.
Tulowitzki has committed six errors in 11 games so far this season -- equaling the total number of errors he had in 2011. To make this move, Marco Scutaro will move over to shortstop while Jonathan Herrera moves from the bench to second base.
Here is the complete Rockies' lineup:
SS Marco Scutaro
CF Dexter Fowler
LF Carlos Gonzalez
RF Michael Cuddyer
1B Todd Helton
C Wilin Rosario
3B Chris Nelson
