Padres Vs. Rockies: Colorado Finds Itself On Losing Streak Once Again

The Colorado Rockies lost on Monday night, 7-1, to the San Diego Padres, giving the road team its first road win of the season. Cory Luebke was spot on and held the Rockies to a Tyler Colvin RBI single. Will the Rockies follow a similar path on Tuesday night?

Anthony Bass draws the start after joining the rotation on April 12. He allowed one run on three hits in 4.1 innings. He struck out five. Rockies fans will remember Bass as the pitcher who made his major league debut on Jun 13 in a spot start. At Coors Field, Bass held the Rockies to one run in five innings for the win.

Jamie Moyer makes his third start for the Rockies, losing in his first two tries. He has allowed eight runs in 10.2 innings so far. While he used 69 pitches to get through his season debut against the Houston Astros, Moyer battled and lost to the San Francisco Giants with 112 pitches in 5.2 innings.
