Rockies Vs. Diamondbacks Score Update: Back-To-Back Homers Gives Colorado 3-1 Lead

The Colorado Rockies have taken an early 3-1 lead against the Arizona Diamondbacks with homers from LF Tyler Colvin and C Ramon Hernandez.

Pitching for the Diamonbacks, SP Josh Collmenter began the bottom of the second inning by inducing a ground out from 1B Todd Helton, but RF Michael Cuddyer singled and then Colvin redirected a 1-1 pitch to the right field bullpen for a two-run home run and a 2-1 Rockies lead.

Ramon Hernandez then worked a 2-1 count from Collmenter before blasting his second homer of the season just beyond the center field wall. In the meantime, SP Jhoulys Chacin managed to work around a bases-loaded jam in the top of the third to keep the Diamondbacks at bay.

The Rockies enter the bottom of the third with a 3-1 lead.
