Rockies Vs. Giants: Colorado Stays On Road, Faces San Francisco

The Colorado Rockies remain on the road for a Wednesday game against the San Francisco Giants. Colorado enters the contest having lost its first game of the Cactus League, an 11-4 defeat at the bats of the Chicago Cubs. Guillermo Moscoso allowed two home runs and four runs while pitching two innings in his first outing for the Rockies.

Jeremy Guthrie makes his official Rockies debut after starting an intra-squad game last week. Guthrie is expected to be the Opening Day starter over Jhoulys Chacin, who looked to have that spot before Guthrie came over through trade.

Todd Helton makes his Spring Training debut in this game after Ben Paulsen, Chad Tracy and Jordan Pacheco have filled in there. Troy Tulowitzki is also back in the lineup after missing Monday's game due to illness and then not playing on Tuesday.

The Giants are 2-2 so far this preseason, last beating the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday. Melky Cabrera blasted two homers in that game Tim Lincecum is making his second start of the spring after allowing one run on four hits in two innings.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m., which can be heard through MLB.com.
