The Colorado Rockies could be coming to your car soon enough. A House bill was approved in early March by the House Committee on Transportation and then by the Finance Committee, continuing a long but likely successful approval process. If the bill is passed and becomes law, plates will be available starting in January.
↵The Rockies would be the last of the four major professional sports teams in the state to receive this treatment should the bill become law. Last year, the Avalanche and the Nuggets received their special license plates and even had their mascots testify for this. No one wanted Dinger, it seems -- a good idea. Annoying purple dinosaurs have no place in either sports or politics.
