Rockies Vs. Padres Final Score: San Diego Scores Early And Often In 11-6 Win

The Colorado Rockies struggled to halt San Diego's offense on Thursday -- starter Guillermo Miscoso allowed five runs on seven hits in three innings of work, and the man who followed him, Carlos Torres, gave up six runs in two innings. By the end of the fifth inning, the Rockies found themselves down 11-5, and they'd end up losing to the Padres 11-6.

Chad Tracy and Tyler Colvin both were 3-4 at the plate for Colorado, while Eric Young and D.J. LeMahieu had two hits apiece. But they weren't able to keep up with the likes of San Diego's Yasmani Grandal, who finished 3-3 with five RBI.

This was as split squad game, and the Rockies have a game against the Giants later Thursday night.
