Colorado entered the ninth down 3-2, but the Rockies got a game-tying sacrifice fly from Brandon Wood and then Chris Nelson hit a single to score the game-winning run.

Ervin Santana pitched well for the Angels, giving up no runs on two hits in four innings of work. The team's bullpen did a fine job holding the lead until Francisco Rodriguez came in to start the eighth inning.

Juan Nicasio got the start for the Rockies and was responsible for all three Angels runs.
